I think this forest looks a bit like it.” “Yeah, that was a butt-movie, and well, we’re going up a hill, so it doesn’t really look like it.” “No way, you’re kidding me, the movie was awesome!” “No, it wasn’t, still, I prefer not to walk at the back, can I walk in front of you?” That was about how the conversation between P. and J. went this Friday night.

With all the commotion over this title, I decided it was time to both read the book ánd watch the movie. Ofcourse I read the book first. While reading, I imagined this would be my first the-movie-is-better-than-the-book case. But after finishing both, I´m not so sure anymore…

Instead of doing the major hike on ‘some mountain’, we did a mini hike on ‘our mountain’. Well, kind of… We did an easy version of the Vodno-Matka hike I did in May (Scroll down).
