On ploenk.nl, I write about my thoughts, my travels, my life,
my food, my learning, my wishes and everything random.
This will mostly happen in English, though an occasional
Dutch blog post may also occur.

I have always loved writing. I wrote journals since I could write, I sent massive letters to friends and I even made the occasional attempt at writing a short story. I love words and want to leave my mark on paper.

I developed my skills overtime. Especially in writing for the internet. Short and concise, I like that. In various styles, from informative to humorous, I kept myself sharp. During a semester at university in US, I also improved my English writing skills. My international friends, who I met there and through CouchSurfing, have helped me grow to express myself in this language, though I’m far from being perfect at it.

Since August 18, 2004 I am hooked on blogging. Internet and
writing are just a great combination. It’s a challenge for me to
present my experiences in a fun way to the world.

Since August 1, 2010 I am officially registered as a freelancer.
