Daar gingen we dan, met de ongebroken beschuiten en het pakje blauw-witte muisjes, op naar het ziekenhuis. De moeder viel erop aan alsof ze 60 uur lang niets gegeten had. En dat was ook zo. Nouja, ongeveer dan.

Het poffertjespakket (holletjespan, poffertjesmix, spuitfles en poedersuiker) stond me al de hele week aan te kijken, vanaf de eerste dag dat ik terug was gekomen uit Nederland. Maar tot dan toe waren er geen vrije ochtenden geweest om mijn poffertjes-bak-skills uit te proberen en Vriend te verrassen. Deze zondag was het zover!

Remember how I wrote “I gave up on the film festival all together” after ending up in a French-Spanish movie with Macedonian subtitles? Well, I gave the festival a second chance, thinking nothing could go wrong with watching a British movie. Boy, was I wrong.

Yeah, I know, the only time I’m late with posting new blogs is when I’m traveling. And right now, I’m perfectly fine at home. But I’m traveling in another way.
