Peak of day 12: Sushi Overload

The day after we come back from our trip, we are glued to our laptops all morning. After a nap, we take our kind hosts out for an evening of all-we-can-eat sushi. The food is delicious and our waiter is a lot of fun. It is just too bad that the second batch takes half an hour to arrive and our brains caught up with our stomachs. We need persistence to finish eating all the amazing rolls.

Peak of day 13: Preparing a dish without a recipe for ten people

On our last day in town, we try to do some shopping, but in all the tiredness of the nasty cold I endured and the medicine I took for it, I am not capable of a lot. Though I manage to buy a cheesecake! After another nap, we prepare a yummie vegetarian dish with with the best mozzarella I ever tasted. And then it is time to say goodbye to my new American family. We had great fun!
